Chosen for the Eater 38 National - Even after a decade of nationwide — nay, global — fetishism and imitation, it’s still a joy to return to the East Village restaurant where David Chang’s Momofuku empire launched. From the Noodle Bar came creations like rice cakes in chile sauce with caramelized onions, ramen with bacon-enhanced pork bone broth, and (they need no introduction) steamed Chinese buns swabbed with hoisin and folded around pork belly squares with scallions and cucumber... » Read Full Review

Chosen for the Eater 38 - Over 10 years later, David Chang's first restaurant is still turning out inventive, deeply satisfying, and affordable food. The buns and ramen are all just as good as you remember, even the vegetarian ramen is not to be underestimated. It was one of Ryan Sutton's favorite dishes of 2014. » Read Full Review

The irony of Noodle Bar is that until recently, the noodles weren’t very good; now they’re near perfect. The learning curve for fowl has been quicker. » Read Full Review

The results are consistent with what we’ve seen so far: original. Fun. At times, outstanding. The new Noodle Bar, at 55 seats, doubles the capacity, yet the quality hasn’t suffered. In fact, many of the new dishes raise the bar. » Read Full Review

Once the big, steaming bowl of house ramen arrives-an admittedly untraditional but deeply considered version-it's impossible not to plunge right in. » Read Full Review
